Adaptive reuse projects constitute a portion of the firm's projects. Finding new uses for existing buildings while addressing the owner's needs is a very rewarding challenge. Recycling buildings is a sustainable notion and is often preferred for cost analysis reasons. Hoffman Architects has established a regional reputation with our expertise in sports and resort projects. Sport projects range in size from Master planning facilities to complete design and documentation of recreation complexes and stadiums. Current projects include the new Dawgs Ballpark currently being built south of Calgary Alberta. Project sites range from Canada to Arizona. Recent competed project experience (while at EW) include the $11,100,000 Park City Sports Complex, Programming and Master Planning for the University of Montana Football Stadium, and the recently completed UVSC Ballpark; home of the UVSC college baseball team and the Orem Owlz, the single A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim. Recent resort projects include Legends Bar & Grill at Park City Mountain Resort. Currently the firm is designing a major renovation to the Gondola Angle Station at Park City Mountain Resort which is striving for LEED Platinum certification.
